Mike is a partner of the firm and is a registered patent attorney with over twenty years of patent experience and has prosecuted several hundred patents in various high-tech fields. He handles various intellectual property matters including patent prosecution, strategic IP planning, patent analysis and opinions, technology agreements, and patent litigation support.

​Mike was formerly a partner at the law firm of Faegre & Benson and co-chair of the Intellectual Property Section of the Boulder County Bar Association. He also worked as a patent attorney for Sprint Corporation. Prior to his legal career, Mike spent five years as an electrical engineer for Black & Veatch. Mike received his Juris Doctorate with honors from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He received his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri.
