Jason is an intellectual property attorney, who has experience counseling clients--ranging from small businesses and startups to large universities and Fortune 500 companies--on all matters related to the protection and enforcement of intellectual property. Prior to joining Setter Roche LLP, Jason worked for a number of prominent intellectual property firms including a firm in Washington D.C. and a firm in Denver, Colorado.
Jason has drafted and prosecuted patent applications in a number of technology areas, including software, telecommunications, the electrical and computer arts, mechanical devices, medical devices, oil refining, chemical consumer products and business methods, among others. In addition to his patent prosecution experience, Jason also has extensive experience working on patent analysis and opinions as well as working with matters in other areas of intellectual property including trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and technology licensing.
Prior to working in law, Jason worked as a database programmer for a major publishing company. Jason also worked as an information technology auditor at a Big Four accounting firm.
